Benefits for the Parish
With the planning application now submitted we will shortly begin negotiations with North Hertfordshire District Council about financial contributions that Countryside can make towards mitigating the impact of the development by improving local facilities and infrastructure (these are known as Section 106 obligations).
We have already met with representatives of St Ippolyts Parish Council and been made aware of facilities within the Parish that could benefit from improvement, such as the play equipment in the two children’s play areas in the village.
We have also commissioned planning consultancy Lichfields to investigate the economic benefits that development of the land west of London Road could bring:
